５月１５日(水)、交通安全教室。

５月１５日（水）６限目、ＫＤＳ熊本ドライビングスクールの交通安全教育センター室より講師の方に来校いただいて、中高合同での交通安全教室を実施しました。

〈講演内容〉

• 交通社会の現状について　（全国・熊本県自転車事故の発生状況）
• 自転車乗車中の事故事例　
• 年々高騰化する損害賠償額の判例と保険について
• 自転車の安全利用について交通法令の順守　（安全ルールを守る・ヘルメット着用の重要性）

〈講話を聞いた後の生徒の感想〉

・講師の方の体験談を聞いて、もし交通事故に遭ったら、その時、どこにも痛いところはない状態でも、その場ですぐに警察に連絡する必要があることが分かりました。

・令和５年の事故数がその前より増加していることに驚いた。自分は自転車通学ではないけれども、自転車に乗るときには必ずヘルメットを被ろうと思いました。

・講師の方の事故に遭った体験談を聞いて、交通事故に限らず、怪我などをした場合は、必ず親や先生に報告したり相談したりすることが大切だとあらためて思いました。

・交通安全教室を通して、いのちをまもる行動（きちんと安全確認をすること）の大切さを学ぶことができました。

４月２８日(日)、体育大会を行いました。

開会式では、校長先生の挨拶、高校生徒会長挨拶に続き、中学校生徒会長の井手口さんの「元気・やる気・パワーを持って全力で体育大会に臨みましょう。」という挨拶で、体育大会の幕が上がりました。

午前のプログラムは１００m走で始まり、高校生の声援の中、中学生も一生懸命走りました。

宅急便リレーでは、10個のダンボールを積んでゴールまで運んでいき、全員がハラハラと見守る中、青団が一着でゴールし、会場を沸かせました。

文徳綱引きは高校生と一緒に力を合わせて取り組むプログラムでした。高校生にまじり、みんな手が痛くなるまで綱を全力で引いていました。

午後のよさこい２０２４では、中学生全員がハチマキと法被を着て、中学生らしい迫力のあるよさこいソーランを披露してくれました。練習の成果が現れた素晴らしいパフォーマンスでした。

中学生最後のプログラムは、中学生全員がそれぞれの団に分かれてバトンをつなぐ団対抗全員リレーでした。

抜いたり抜かれたりと接戦を繰り広げ、各団の高校生の声援を受けて懸命に力走しました。

体育大会は高校生と一緒に取り組む最初の学校行事です。高校生の迫力に圧倒される場面もありますが、文徳学園の生徒としての一体感を感じることのできる一日でした。

On April 28^th, we held our school’s sports festival.

In the opening ceremony, our principal gave a speech, followed by the high school’s student council president, and then the junior high school’s student council president, Ideguchi. She said, “Let’s do our best to participate in the sports day with energy, motivation, and power.” And with this, the sports day began.

The morning schedule started with the 100m race. With the high school students cheering them on, our junior high school students ran their hardest.

In the “delivery relay,” the students had to stack 10 boxes and carry them to the goal. All the students helped the person running, but in the end, blue team was the first to the finish line.

“Buntoku tug-of-war” was an event where the junior high school students combined their power with the high school students. Mixed in with the high school students, everyone pulled the rope with all their might, even until their hands hurt.

In the afternoon, the junior high school students did their “Yosakoi 2024 version.” They all put on hachimaki and happi and performed the Yosakoi Soran with the power of junior high school students. It was a great performance where you could see the results of all their hard practice.

The last event for the junior high school students was the “Team Relay” where all the students split into their teams and participated in a relay race.

It was a close race, with some passing others and others being passed, and they ran as hard as they could while being cheered on by the high school students from each group.

The sports day was the first school event this year the junior high school students had with the high school students. There were times where the students felt overwhelmed by the power of the high school students, but it was a day where the feeling of unity as students of Buntoku Gakuen could also be felt.

４月１８日(木)に、４月２８日(日)開催予定の体育大会へ向けての結団式を中高合同で行いました。

結団式では高校の生徒会長に続いて、中学校の生徒会長井手口さんが「大会テーマである『燦』のように輝かしい体育大会をみんなで作り上げていきましょう。」と挨拶をしてくれました。

体育委員長の中村さんも「怪我のないように、元気・やる気・パワーを持って、それぞれの競技で全力を尽くしていきましょう。」と挨拶をし、会長と体育委員長の挨拶で全体の士気が一つになりました。

On April 18^th (Thurs), Buntoku Junior High and High School held a joint Inauguration Ceremony for the Sports Day that will be held on April 28^th (Sun).

At the ceremony, following Buntoku High School’s student council president, Buntoku Jr’s student council president, Ms. Ideguchi, gave a speech about how everyone should work together to make the Sport Day’s theme of “brilliance” become reality.

Our head of the PE committee then gave a speech saying, “Let’s do our best in each sport with energy, motivation, and power to avoid injury.”

These two speeches from the student council president and the head of the PE committee brought moral to the group as a whole.

４月１２日(金)に、瑞巌寺公園まで歓迎遠足に行きました。

現地では主に２・３年生が、１年生を迎えるプログラムを考え、実行しました。

部活動紹介では、それぞれの部活動の部員達が１年生も巻き込んで、親しみやすい雰囲気の中、各部の紹介を行っていました。

昼食後に行われたレクリエーションでは、ボールを用いた「爆弾回し」や「ダルマさんが転んだ」を生徒会が主体となって行いました。

１年生は、先輩達と一緒になって外で身体を動かしてコミュニケーションをとることができ、緊張した表情も徐々になくなり、全員が打ち解けた様子となりました。

On April 12^th (Fri), we held the welcome field trip at Zuiganji Park.

Once we reached the park, the 8^th and 9^th graders led the activities they thought of to welcome the new 7^th graders.

During the introductions of the various school clubs, each club’s members included the 7^th graders in a friendly manner.

After lunch, the students council led everyone in playing hot potato using a ball, and red light, green light.

The 7^th graders having been able to communicate with their upperclassmen while moving their bodies outside slowly looked less nervous, and it seemed like everyone had gotten to know each other a little more.

４月９日(火)、対面式を行いました。

対面式は、生徒会が主体となって実施しました。

生徒会長の井手口さんは「１日でも早く私たちと仲良くなりましょう。困ったことがあればいつでも聞いてください。ようこそ文徳中学校へ。」という歓迎の言葉を新１年生に送り、１Jを代表して畑さんが対面式を挙行してくれたことに対し、２、３年生の先輩へ感謝の気持ちを伝えました。

対面式後はレクリエーションとして、縦割りでグループを作り、ババ抜きを行いました。

生徒会が主体となって迎え入れられた１年生は、先輩との会話の中で笑顔が溢れ、緊張もほぐれた様子でした。

The upperclassmen were mostly in charge of this activity.

The student council president, Ms. Ideguchi, said to the new 7^th graders,  “Let’s become friends as soon as possible. If there’s ever something you’re troubled about, please ask us. Welcome to Buntoku Junior High.” The 7^th grade representative, Ms. Hata, responded with their thanks for holding the ceremony for them.

For the activity, groups you’re made of 7^th, 8^th, and 9^th graders to play Old Maid.

The 7^th graders who were welcomed by the student council appeared to be relaxed and all smiles as they talked and played with their upperclassmen.
