学校長訓話では、入学式で掲げた目標の確認として「校歌をみんなで大きな声で歌うことができたこと、そして体育大会で中学生が一生懸命に取り組んだよさこいソーランの披露は素晴らしく、創造的復興が進んでいること」を述べられ、全校生徒の努力を称賛されました。

そして、花壇のお世話について「リーダーシップを発揮し、みんなで協力して花壇をお世話することで、学校全体がきれいになります」と今後の活動への期待の言葉がありました。

また中学生が本の貸し出し量で高校生を大きく上回っていることについて「読書を通じて広い視野を持つことができるように、これからもたくさんの本を読んでください」と励ましの言葉がありました。

最後に、「自分には何ができるのかを考え、少しずつ自分の得意なことを伸ばしていってほしい」と、2学期に向けたメッセージで締めくくられました。 

その後、各学年から代表生徒が1学期の反省を発表しました。以下に、その内容を紹介します。

１J 畑さん

「入学後は電車で通学するのが怖かったですが、今はやっと慣れてきました。クラスメイトにおはようと元気に挨拶することができるようになり、学校生活が少しずつ楽しくなっています。しかし、遠足では弁当を忘れてしまうという失敗もありました。今後は自分の行動にもっと気を付けていきたいです。」

２J 川尻さん 

「1学期は悪ふざけや言葉遣いに対して注意されることが多かったです。しかし、中体連で他校の生徒の礼儀正しさを見て、心と体を鍛えることの重要性を感じました。2年生の勉強は難しくなってきましたが、しっかりと質問をし、その日のうちに理解することを目標にします。また、先輩としての自覚を持って、学校生活を過ごしていきたいです。」

３J 藤原さん

「3年生として自覚ある行動をしていきたいです。リーダーシップを発揮して、後輩を引っ張っていく先輩になります。毎日夜の10分は苦手な数学に向き合うことを目標にしました。以前は理由をつけて、苦手なことから逃げていましたが、一つの成功がモチベーションにつながることを知りました。10月の共通テストに備えて、しっかりと勉強を続けていきます。そして、生徒総会で決まったスローガンのような生徒を目指していきたいです。」

 

最後に全校生徒で生活信条を唱和し、校歌を大きな声で歌うことで終業式を終えました。

終業式を通じて、生徒全員が1学期を振り返り、2学期に向けて新たな決意を固めることができました。

 

In the principal’s speech, he confirmed the goals set at the entrance ceremony. He also talked about how it’s nice we were able to sing the school song together loudly, how the performance of the Sakoi Soran dance that the junior high school students worked hard on at the sports festival was wonderful, how the creative rebuilding of our school is progressing well, and praised the efforts of all the students.

He also expressed his expectations for future activities regarding the care of the flower beds, saying, “By demonstrating leadership and working together to take care of the flower beds, the entire school will become beautiful.”

He also encouraged the junior high school students, who borrow far more books than their high school upper classmen, saying, “Please continue to read many books so that you can have a broader perspective through reading.”

Finally, he concluded with a message for the second semester, saying, “I want you to think about what you can do and gradually improve your strengths.”

 

After that, representatives from each grade gave a reflection on the first semester. What they talked about is written below.

1J Hata-san

“After I enrolled, I was scared to commute to school by train, but now I’m finally used to it. I can now greet my classmates cheerfully and say good morning, and my school life is gradually becoming more enjoyable. However, I also made a mistake by forgetting my lunch on a field trip. I want to be more careful about my behavior in the future.”

 

2J Kawajiri-san

“In the first semester, I was often warned about my pranks and language. However, when I saw how polite the students from other schools were at the junior high school athletics competition, I realized the importance of training both my mind and body. My studies this year have become more difficult, but I will ask questions and aim to understand what I asked questions about on the same day. I also want to spend my school life with an awareness of being an upperclassman.”

 

3J Fujiwara-san: “I want to be aware of my behavior as a third-year student. I will be a senior who shows leadership and leads my underclassman. I set a goal to spend 10 minutes every night working hard at math, which I am not good at. In the past, I used to make excuses to avoid things I was not good at, but I learned that succeeding even once can motivate me to work harder. I will continue to study hard in preparation for the standardized test in October. And I want to aim to be a student like the slogan we decided on at the student assembly.”
